Rebreather

Max-Air NAMUR rebreather blocks are designed to prevent corrosive air from entering the actuator chamber in spring return applications.  Normally during the actuator spring stroke, center chamber air is forced out by the springs and the outer chambers draw in atmospheric air.  The rebreather block allows the outer chambers to draw in the clean exhausted center chamber air instead, effectively recycling air from one chamber to the other.  This ensures that only clean, dry instrument air is present inside the actuator.  Max-Air NAMUR rebreather blocks are designed for compatibility with our rack and pinion pneumatic actuators, direct mount solenoid valves, and other NAMUR accessories.
