This assembly was designed to provide a means of “jogging” and actuator position without the use of a positioner. Both solenoids are normally closed, one controls air coming in to the spring return actuator, one controls exhaust of air in the actuator. To open the valve more, the inlet solenoid is fired for a short period. To close the actuator more, the exhaust solenoid is fired for a short time.
