The Max Air teamed up to solve a roofing product producer’s valve problem on their hot oil system for heating asphalt. The producer had several older linear control valves that were no longer providing the performance that they needed. Sesto valves put together a custom metal seated quarter turn valve package that fit into the available space and provided a more compact, efficient control package. Custom features included a custom face to face length, metal seats, and an extended bonnet for heat dissipation. Automation was accomplished with a simple 4 – 20 mA control circuit on a 120 Vac electric actuator.
